Hello Localization Team,
I have split the existing "OmegaT Localization Plan" on the OmegaT Yahoo!
group into two Plans (databases/tables): an "OmegaT Documentation
Localization Plan" and an "OmegaT Website Localization Plan".
The reason for this is that updates to the OmegaT documentation are listed by
OmegaT version number (as well as by language). Modifications to
http://www.omegat.org, however, are made at completely different times to the user
documentation, and it is therefore difficult to see from the OmegaT version
number how up to date a particular localization of the website is.
The link to the OmegaT Website Localization Plan (at
tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/OmegaT/database) has a sub-heading indicating
when major changes were last made to the website. Together with this
information, it can then be seen whether a particular localization is up to
I recently completed a major overhaul of the website; at present, only the
Czech and Slovak translations include these changes. The existing
translations in other languages are acceptable and can be left, but if
localizers are willing to update the pages in their respective languages, this
would obviously be beneficial.
