I've installed funambol DM server recently. Then I use SCTS DM 1.2 to test a connection to the DM server. The Test Group ID:1 failed and I don't know where is the problem. Could someone tell me the following log's meaning? Could you please help me out in configuring and running the test cases
on SCTS DS 2.0?
I have installed SCTS DS 2.0 package. When I open the tool, it is asking
to choose either existing configuration or to create a new
configuration. I tried with both options. After configured the account,
I tried to run the client test(s) under DS test by pressing the Green
button. Unfortunately nothing is happening except the focus moved to
yellow and red buttons and when I am moving among the tabs status,
results, logs, messages, nothing is showing.
Please tell me what is going wrong. And also suggest me if any
dependencies are there for using the tool.

Dear All,

Hi All
I was able to solve it
Did some chage in
/home/funambol/Funambol/dm-server/config/
Funambol.properties
changed the server.uri(from localhost to IP address )
server.uri=http://192.168.20.99:8080/funambol/dm

My two machines (dm-server) and (SCTS
testing PC ) are in the same network and there is no
firewall in between.
I am trying to find out the reason
for this TCP error to happen

Hello, I'm using 1.2 SyncMLTestRunner to test a SyncML Client that I developed, and I recieve this: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! .... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. in the Client-Con-0101 test. So I downloaded the zip to see If I can debug it but when I try to unzip it there's an open file error... Hi, I am trying to connect to a SCTS DM 1.1.2 server on my desktop using an emulator running on the same machine, but I keep on getting this error "Not expecting status to SyncHdr". The problem is when my client initiated a session (through "discover server device"), the server didn't provide a <RespURI> in the response message, so the client just use the original address "http://ip-addr/Manage". This cause the server to handle subsequent response messages from the client in a new session, and complains about getting SyncHdr status (the server can't relate the message to the previous session). How should this be handled? Also, I can connect to the SCTS DM server through "add device manually", but I can't insert any commands to the command list. The GET commands are grey-out when I right click on a node. I can still ADD nodes, but the command won't show in the command list. What do I need to do? Thanks. |

2/ Run SCTS.
3/ Select Servers from the Settings menu.
4/ Stop the HTTP server.
5/ Click on the HTTP server port and change it to something else.
6/ Start the HTTP server.
7/ Restart the program that was previously using port 80.
SCTS will now use the new port each time you start it.
SCTS ought to allow you to change the port even if the server failed to start (due to a conflict in this case). I think this is a bug in SCTS but it hasn't annoyed me enough to do anything about it. Perhaps you might like to work out and submit a fix to SourceForge.
