If a monitor is powered off while in a dimmed state and later powered back on, the dimmed brightness level is incorrectly treated as the baseline. E.g. my default brightness is 75%, but dims to 0%. Turning the monitor off and back on while dimmed makes the program think the default is 0%.
I think the easiest solution could be adding a 'default' brightness level to remind the program how bright I want the monitor to be when active.
