A new release of OLAC Suite (0.9b) has been released. This is mainly a bug-fix release of the previous release (0.9a), but it adds a few useful utility programs that can be used in OLAC database management.

Code is released from the University of Melbourne for two new services which work in conjunction with the OLAC Suite.

OLAC-Search is a fully featured search engine which works over the OLAC Aggregator.

OLAC-Archive Reports is a metadata quality evaluation toolkit which works over the OLAC Aggregator.

This is the first release of OLAC Suite that supports OAI 2.0 and OLAC 1.0. The changes in the OAI-PMH, OLAC metadata format and OLAC database schema are covered in this release. Ovester has been rewritten without Hussein's harvester module, which was the base of previous versions of ovester.
