Feature Requests

The Request for Enhancement (RFE) page is the "official" location of pending proposals for OSID changes. All changes to the OSIDs will appear in this listing before they are implemented in a new OSID release. This is the place to go to see what is under consideration and influence the next release.

A note about workflow: Newly created items have an "Open" status. Items remain "Open" until they have been reviewed by the O.K.I. architects. Following review the item status will change to "Pending". The "Pending" status indicates that the proposal has been resolved. The resolution is indicated by the "Resolution" status. A resolution of "Accepted" indicates that the proposed change will appear in the next release. A resolution of "Rejected" indicates that the proposed change will not be included. Following an OSID code release the status of pending items will change to "Closed".

Regardless of status, comments can be added to an item. This should allow the opportunity for Sourceforge members to continue discussion even after an item has been reviewed.

By default the Browser only shows items with an "Open" status. Change the status selector to "Any" to view all the items in the list.
