#8 GUI: improvements!

Suggestions for GUI improvements:

1) Grid is too dark: need to make it gray - user is
most interested in seeing a TRACE, not the grid.... so
dim out the grid.

2) Turn off silly mouse-over hints. These are just
annoying and are of zero help to anyone who'd actually
buy this product.

3) My preference would be black background instead of
white (just like tektronix scopes, and HP/Agilents
before they went to Windows (ugh)).
