I've made test for Symbian phone with SPMark04 , replacing Hibrid's commertial OGL ES implemenation with Vincent.

    Result for Nokia 6600

    Hibrids avg 7.77 fps
    Vincent avg 6.39 fps

benchmark run without any problems, but why performance difference so noticable?
Are there some debug code in Vincent ? Or Hibrid doing some very smart optimization ?

Well, I think because many of the possible improvements have not been implemented yet (see the bug list, for example).

You have 18 developer months behind Hybrid, and ~6 months (remember, this is all part time volunteer work) behind Vincent.

If you want to get involved in addressing these issues, please feel invited to join the project.

      Correction:
Disregard both post above. Vincent binary not working.

Yep, that was the problem. I was using PPC binary instead of Symbian probably
