mode is GL_MODULATE. Magnification filter is
GL_NEAREST, minification
filter is GL_NEAREST. Color is (0.806, 0.571,
0.774), should be
(0.800, 0.588, 0.772).

    The internal format should reflect the bit requirements
    coming from the format specification. From the spec:

    Should palette format and number of bits used to represent each
    texel be part of data or internal format.

    RESOLVED: Should be part of the internal format since this makes
    the palette format and texture data size very explicit for the
    application programmer.

    This means that we have to add the following internal
    formats for textures:

    RGB8, RGBA8

    This should also take care of some other texture format
    failures.
