To use dropbear on the XPortPro it is important that an instance of inetd is running on the XPortPro aswell.
Therefore configure both dropbear and inetd (in Network Applications)
Further there seems to be a little quirks with the scp.c binary that comes with this Version of dropbox (0.52). For some reasons the Linux SDK compiles the dropbear with -DHAVE_CYGWIN enabled. As a result the following lines in scp.c make problems:
385 #ifdef HAVE_CYGWIN 386 setmode(0, O_BINARY); 387 #endif
As (to my knowledge) Linux doesn't really make a difference to Text or Binary files I think it is safe to just comment this line out.
so just remove the setmode function by commenting it out.
385 #ifdef HAVE_CYGWIN 386 //setmode(0, O_BINARY); 387 #endif
