When started in the normal way, it activates the X11 system and asks for
the language choice, then Dr. Geo shuts up immediately. To debug, I
opened a xterm window in X11 and issued the command
/Applications/Drgeo.app/Contents/MacOS/Drgeo
obtaining the following error message:
/Applications/Drgeo.app/Contents/Resources/bin/drgeo:
line 49: /Users/bladerun/Desktop/CocoaDialog.app/Contents/MacOS/
CocoaDialog: No such file or directory
dyld: Symbol not found: __cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart

ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/ImageIO

libJPEG.dylib
I must add that I was using regularly Dr. Geo with Mac OS X 10.3.x
