The Open For Business Project is starting to grow, and get very busy. Because of this it is difficult for me to handle many of the issues that come up in the regular course of development of various parts of the project.
Now that ofbiz and jaguar are combined, Andy Zeneski can handle many of these issues. We will also be looking for people interested in becoming technical leads for various parts of the application such as workflow, rules, constraints, analysis, content and applications pieces such as accounting, catalog management, party management, ecommerce, human resources, order handling, shippment handling, and so forth.
There are lots of pieces in the Open For Business Project, and this sort of administrative orgranization will allow parts of the project to continue in parallel, without getting held up because of Andy or me.
If you are interested in heading up a part of the project, and have the time to do so, let us know and we will discuss it will you. Also, we may be contacting some of you who we believe will do a good job as a lead on one of the sub-projects.
Issues about sub-project should be brought up in the forums for that sub-project. General issues should be directed to Andy or me if appropriate, or preferably to firstname.lastname@example.org which is forwarded to a mailing list for ofbiz administration.
I want to thank everyone for all of their help, and I hope you are all enjoying and benefiting from your involvement with the Open For Business Project. We would appreciate input from others on how to help this project move along.
