Hello

After a Smart Disk Failure, i unplugged the Hdd from the laptop in cause, and inserted it in a desktop computer slot.
From there i had made backups of 3/4 partitions (System(NTFS) / Restore (Fat32)/ HP(NTFS)) the main windows partition being corrupted and not accessible at all on the desktop computer…

After lots of problems, i finally managed to restore gradually Windows access to main Windows Partition, but could not boot from the laptop due to bcd corruption on system partition (don't do a fixmbr from another system than the one you are attempting to restore, it breaks apparently BCD/Mbr)…

So i thought that it would not be a problem, i had backed up the system partition through ODIN, i just had to restore it, and restart after unplugging the hdd from the desktop computer, the fixmbr from the laptop…
The partition size is 199 Mb, and contains 29,429 Mb of data, the rest being free space..

Problem :

After 16 minutes of no operations done by odin (restore remains at 0% progress, 0 Bytes processed, time elapses until  16:42).
I get then the following error :
Exception of type Internal Exception Thrown, Cause Internal Thread synchronization  timeout

Worse : Partition is not at all accessible anymore !!!!!
WTF ?

Any idea on the problem and how to solve it ?
Thanks by advance for advice and or restore method to follow…
