Mount ODIN backup to Virtual Machine

I used ODIN to backup my computer prior to a new OS install, and everything went great (ODIN works like a charm). Unfortunately, I found a few things that I need from my old install that I lost during this process, but I figure that I'll just mount the old OS as a Virtual Machine, and access the files that way.

I'm new to the process of mounting VMs, and getting an image to that VM. I was hoping that I could somehow "see" the VM hard drive in ODIN, and just direct ODIN to copy the files there. I'm using VirtualBox to manage my VMs, but I don't see a way to use direct VirtualBox to use the ODIN image.

Does anyone have any suggestions or help for me?

    Thank you,

You might try the portable app OSFMount:

I can't exactly recommend this, as every time I've tried to use it, it's frozen my PC! However, this may be because I have a 32-bit PC, ie can only access < 4GB memory (64-bit is recommended).
