I have a question about the new version. In 0.4.4 for the warn_recepient feature to work I had to append the "|/usr/local/bin/odeiavir" .qmail perline with "-r $EXT@$HOST". Is this still necessary?
Also in the new README file you state that "the newer version requires the sendmail executable". Is that just /bin/mail that you are referring to or something else?
Anyways, it's GREAT to see you back. I've been using odeiavir/uvscan for the last couple of years. I have yet to find a better, easier to setup, and more stable virus scanner for qmail.

1. Yes, this is still necessary. It's very likely I will address this problem in a future version.
2. No, it's the /usr/sbin/sendmail symlink to /var/qmail/bin/sendmail. The sendmail command-line interface has become a de facto standard, so every Unix MTA supports it. I use it to send warnings instead of qmail-inject.
3. It's good to be back! :)

Perhaps the thread about the author being back from the dead will assist me in contacting them.
I am looking to submit a patch that adds native clamAV support using clamd, who owns this project and maintains the sources these days?
Thanks,
Jason.

I created version 0.4.5 and gave Brian Henery a notice. OdeiaVir now works with Exim also. Check the README and FAQ for other changes.

(Yep, the old isverybad.org domain lapsed)
Brian, if you're still around I'd like some directions on updating the Web page, getting CVS admin rights etc.
