If you select coord variables for nodes to be outputted, the Points Cloud button will appear. Click it, the nodes with coordinates will be extracted to a IGES file. Open it in a CAD software, you can get the points cloud for profile. It's is useful to get the deformed object and turn it into a geometry object.

When select the frames, you could use minus index to appoint a frame index. For example, 'step-release(-1)' means the last frame of step of 'step-release'.

By default, the application will auto load last session data. It's useful for batch processing work. In this situation, you'd better use -1 to select the last frame of a step. Of course, you could check out this function in the option dialog. And you can set the output precision by set decimal numbers in the option dialog.

You'd better define concerning nodes or elements into a set when modeling, you can select it easily when post processing.

When you want to extract nodal data and you forget setting a nodal set for objective nodes, you can use "Find Nodes by Coordinates" function when setting objective IDs. You can also find nodes on a surface and export the surface. Pay attention to the frame first. This function can be available from version 0.5.0.

I got some messages from friends who use this tool. I would like to give some advices on how to use this tool.
1 You can input or edit the key words in all edit boxes, but you'd better be care for about the format. Otherwise, you can't get the data and probably make the app crash.
2 So far the elemental output only support shell and solid elements. You should be care when select elemental variables. For example, you should select "LE,SPOS,..." or "LE,SNEG,..." for shell elements, while "LE,..." for solid elements.
3 When come to Object IDs dialog, don't forget to press "+" button on right to add the input IDs to the IDs list to be output. Because the IDs listed the bottom edit box will be returned as the objective IDS. Press "R" button only to clear input IDs. Press "Clear" button will clear the current IDs list.
