Implement 'normalized' units for text()
Status: Alpha

An essential feature that I'm missing are 'normalized'
units for text() which position the text relative to the
axes position, not at absolute data coordinates.
example:
text('units', 'normalized', 'position', [0.02
0.02], 'HorizontalAlignment', 'left', 'VerticalAlignment', 'bot
tom', 'String', some_string)
would place some_string at the lower left corner of the
axes region - and the text would stay there when
resizing the window or changing the xlim or ylim
property.
Also in this case clipping should be turned off, so that
one can put text above the axes box (similar to a title)

Thank you for using octplot and submitting bugs/feature requests
Normalised units are indeed missing. I will have to think
about how to implement them.
About clipping -- each object, including text objects have a
"clipping" property which you can set to "on" or "off". I
forget the default, but you can set/get it from
get(0,"DefaultTextClipping").
