The subplot() function can now support up to 4 subplots only.
It will stop plotting if number of subplots > 4.
e.g. subplot(2,3,5) and subplot(2,3,6) will have problem if it is starting from subplot(2,3,1).

If you still think this is a bug, pleas OPEN A SEPERATE BUG REPORT. do not piggy-back on this old and yet unfixed report. In your bug report, please report the version of octave, octplot and OS. preferably also report if octave and/or octplot are form a binary paclage or self-compiled
also, please add a self-contained test case where you see the failure
