Hi! I have a problem with Octogris (3.0.6) and Logic Pro X 10.1.0!
The problem is for the 7.1 because Logic can me work only in 5.1...
I follow the instructions in the manuals and I change the output in 7.1 (3/4) in the Preferences of Logic and I change the speakers outputs like as it says in the manual of Octogris!
When logic did not allow me to work I tried with Reaper64 (Version 5.35)

So i try to take my 25 stereo tracks in a Reaper64 project (Reaper version: 5.35) and the Octogris (2x8) here works!
But there is another problem in Reaper: over 9 stereo tracks the project doesn't work and play because the level of CPU of my Mac PRO 2015 (SSD 16 GB, 3.1 Ghz - Intelcore I7) reaches the 346% and then Reaper doesn't work!

Has anyone had my same problem?

Thanks and good music for all!

    Two things.

First, Logic works well in 7.1.
You have to setup the Logic Preferences in 7.1 and then also the Audio of the Project Settings of your project in 7.1
Also, Apple has changed recently the way Logic works in Surround, so use the SDDS instead of 3/4.1 format.

Second, about the CPU, your numbers surprise me because this is not what we have noticed on our side.
I would suggest that you use SpatGRIS instead of Octogris if you have problems like that.
It is not officially published but it is quite stable at the moment and we are about to make the first official version.
At the moment it is available in beta mode here:
    https://github.com/GRIS-UdeM/SpatGRIS/releases

It is something like 500% more efficient than Octogris.
But Reaper is weak in terms of CPU in general.
It works fine with a few tracks but it reaches its limits quite rapidly.
