Hi all,
Sorry for the late notice. We had originally planned for a meeting at
this time, but then, Arokk (one of the administrators and the chat
moderator) discovered that he couldn't make it, and so they announced
a cancellation. Zeidoo and I discussed briefly and decided that we
(the developers) should maybe go ahead with the chat anyway. So,
here's the notification.
The chat is scheduled to commence at 15:30 GMT. Please meet in the
OCTGN general chatroom at that time, and then we will proceed to
another channel. The chatroom can be accessed from the
CardFloppers.com portal, via the java chat: www.cardfloppers.com/chat
OR through IRC at irc.ircstorm.net, channel #octgn (I believe,
can anyone confirm?). The last meeting was conducted at
irc.irchat.tv #octgndiscuss but I'm not sure if we all have access
to it or not. For this reason, meet in the general chat first.
We chose this time because it seemed like a good time to allow most of
our developers to show up, since most of us are in North America or
Europe. This will be morning for North America and afternoon or
earling evening for most of Europe. This seems like a good
compromise.
On the agenda: We just need to get more organized in terms of what
we're planning to do, who's doing what, and where to start. We should
also clarify our goals, and answer any questions. If we have time,
we'll also discuss some more details subjects.
If you can't make it to the chat meeting, I'll try and post a
transcript of the chat in the developer forum on CardFloppers.com.
