And here is the html.
The NEWS file is out of date. It has no mention of the version being released.
Also, could you please push the changes for this release to the repository in Octave Forge? We have as requirement to keep a clone of the repo with the versions being released. You already have commit access to our repositories with a clone of the one you have at http://ltfat.sourceforge.net/ . I just pulled more changes from it but the last commit is almost 3 weeks ago so I'm guessing it's not the latest for what's being released.
Other comments that you may be interested later:
1. I looked into PKG_ADD and ltfatstart. Do you know that you can have a PKG_DEL file as well and use it to call ltfatstop?
2. You can set the package to be dependent on (Octave > 3.6.0) on the DESCRIPTION file and cut that part from ltfatstart if using Octave.
I have updated the NEWS file and added a reminder to my scripts so I should not forget it again. Same thing with the push'ing.
I could never make PKG_DEL work reliably in conjunction with LTFAT, so I gave up trying to support it. Some versions of Octave would even crash when I tried to remove a directory from the path which contains dynamically loaded files. I decided that I do not have the resources to debug this, also because I would expect it to happen very rarely that people wish to unload a packges.
That issue with PKD_DEL may be a bug that we should fix. Could you report it with more details?
Anyway, I'll still make the release soon.
