[OctDev] changes for system function

A while ago I reported an incompatibility with Matlab in the order of 
outputs of the "system" function. John made changes in CVS recently to 
fix this. I have prepared the necessary changes for octave-forge (about 
10 files are affected). Should I check these changes in now, or wait 
until 2.9.5 is released? This will break compatibility with 2.1.x--have 
we already crossed that point?
