Please post any changes to octave-forge/RELEASE-NOTES that I may have missed. After I hear back about Debian builds I will make a new release. I've compiled successfully on 2.1.53 and 2.1.40. Most of the tests ran successfully on both. This may just reflect the lack of adequate testing ;-) A number of tests fail on both because they test for features that are not yet implemented. Feel free to post patches, and new tests. Let me know what problems are outstanding. I know of at least two: tk_octave no longer compiles and optim/lp.cc doesn't work with lower bounds. Also I've heard reports of qhull based routines not building. And I would rather not have two BFGS routines in optim, certainly not without an explanation of why one should be used and not the other. Anyone care to unify the two? Paul Kienzle pki...@us... |
