First of all I have to say that I use latest release and comms.txi is exactly the same as in cvs. So I think this is a problem with the mkdoc and mktexi scripts which are used in the comm-module to create the texi-file. To be exactly: it seems to be a problem with perl-version, which comes with FreeBSD4. Maybe it is to old? It's version 5.00503.
