[OctDev] using source forge

Hi all,

Given that we are light users of source forge services (really only 
CVS) I don't see a compelling reason to move elsewhere.  If (when?)
VA shuts down source forge because of buyout, bankruptcy or whatever
we will still have our tarball and we can use the help-octave list
to decide where to set it up.

BTW, is anyone mirroring the nightly CVS tarball that source forge 
produces?

For those who work on Octave: thanks to all.  I'd like to make you aware
that recently the FSF has issued a warning against Sourceforge, which
is getting more and more closed, and making ever more difficult to
escape from it.  An alternative exists, which is named savannah.gnu.org.
