Eventually I want the repository to provide Octave "toolkits" that users can easily install on their system. Another key part of the repository will be maintaining documentation so that users will know how to use the toolkits, and find the one that fits their needs. > > The official distro is stable and installs through 'make > install', or by installing a binary package. Eventually, I want to have RPMs, DEBs, Win32 installers, etc. for the "toolkits" to make installing and upgrading easy. > One possible claim could be : "Allow end-users to get a desired > functionality easily". Another could be "Provide links / archive > of all contributed octave development". Or is it something else? My immediate goal is the second option, since that is the easiest. I want to move gradually to the first option. -- Matthew W. Roberts ------------------------------------------------------------------ Structural Engineering * Texas A&M University * ma...@ta... |
