Hi RB,
If you have the money, and we are talking Thousands to Tens of Thousands of
US Dollars, the SafeXL and other cards are available for purchase. Note that
this information IS NOT available online. You need to call the companies
directly to arrange a sale - crypto accelerators are marketed as high end
items and not marketed towards the (pro)consumer market. I use several
Soekris 1401 cards (one in the stress client and one in the server) to
reduce overall cpu use (and thus let me model more connections per second)
during SSL load tests at consumer internet speeds.

I suspect some more research would turn up Intel Xscale based combo
nic/acceleration cards that are market ready.
Note that depending on your need and budget, Dell, HP, IBM, Broadcom,
ncircle, etc. provide various solutions that are fully supported in Linux
but are not (afaik) supported via OCF.
