You can get early access to the releases here: http://www.openswan.org/download/development/ Both of the above are fixed AFAIK in this release: http://www.openswan.org/download/development/openswan-2.6.24rc5.tar.gz I have personally tested #1004 using klips and our automatic testing here tests IPCOMP every night. I would be very interested if you still encounter these problems. There is still one problem, tcpdump on klips interfaces is getting the data offset wrong, but it doesn't seem to any more than that, Cheers, Davidm > On Thu, Jan 7, 2010 at 5:28 PM, David McCullough > <Dav...@se...> wrote: > > > > Jivin hiren joshi lays it down ... > >> Hello, > >> > >> While looking at ocf-openswan-2.4.9-20070727.patch > >> I found that besides OCF, the patch adds some non OCF things > >> (like support for Dynamic DNS) in Openswan-2.4.9. > >> > >> As the patch is created via CVS, it adds things that are available > >> in subsequent releases of Openswan. > >> > >> Can I have an OCF only patch for Openswan-2.4.9. > > > > Yes, ??just edit that patch to take out the bits you don't want :-) :-) > > > > The cvs is our local one (non-openswan) and there is no clean version. > > Basically a lot of those features were implemented in our tree and then > > pushed to mainline openswan. ??The only way I can help you is to hand edit > > the patch. > > > > Is there any reason you cannot try openswan-2.6.24rc5 ? ??I think it is > > pretty close to the functionality/stability of 2.4.9. > > > > To make it easier, ??you can get most of the benefit of OCF in openswan > > by just taking the kernel changes in the patch. > > > > Cheers, > > Davidm > > > > -- > > David McCullough, ??dav...@se..., ??Ph:+61 734352815 > > McAfee - SnapGear ??http://www.snapgear.com ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??http://www.uCdot.org > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community > Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support > A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy > Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers > http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > Ocf-linux-users mailing list > Ocf...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ocf-linux-users > > -- David McCullough, dav...@se..., Ph:+61 734352815 McAfee - SnapGear http://www.snapgear.com http://www.uCdot.org |
