This is a problem with debian, not with ocempgui. However, I already know
the debian people will never fix this, since they do not consider the
current state of affairs broken.
If you are running debian, you need to install python2.x-dev, and not
python2.x . Unless you install the development version, you will not
get the config directory, and therefore you will not be able to install
Currently I cannot read the archive on sourceforge -- every article
comes back as 'Not there' when I try to read them threaded. So something
is broken there as well. Apologies if this is very old news for you.
I just wanted to post this so that google can find it for the next person
who cannot get ocempgui to install, and wonders what is broken with his
(now happily off to use ocempgui for the very first time ...)
