    Hi,

normaly the dimension of the picture shouldn't have any effect. So that should work. Which format is the picture (JPEG, FITS, …)?
What exactly do you mean with it doesn't work? Does the software crash? Or is it simply that you cannot find the file with the file selector, when you try to add it?

No unfortunatly, I cannot speak french, that's why OM is currently not available in french. But I'm seeking for volunteers that could do the translation. If you're interessted, I could send you the file, which need to be translated and then you could translate them….would be great!

    Thanks and regards

    Dirk

    astrodon OIII 5mm   5 exposures x 600 s = 50mm        Bin  :2x2
    astrodon SII 5mm    9 exposures x 600 s = 1h30           Bin  :3x3

    Hi Benoit,

can you give me an eMail address to here I can send the translation files? (Maybe you just send me a short mail…)

Regarding the image. Observation Manager uses OpenAstronomyLog (<OAL>) as data format. Currently <OAL> doesn't
have a good CCD/chemical photo description. We're (the <OAL>-Team) are aware of this fakt, but we're currently missing expertise in this area. Maybe you wanna join the <OAL> team and add your input, on what's needed for a good phototgraphic
description. The <OAL> project can be found at:
    http://groups.google.com/group/openastronomylog

As long, as <OAL> doesn't support additional photographic information, Observation Manager won't do either. So for the time, being, you must put the photographic descriptions in the observation description, to where the picture is attached to.

    Best regards
    Dirk

    Hi Greg,

thanks, gld to hear you like OM.
Benoit, didn't contact after the last post, so he didn't receive the translation files from me. Therefore I think he's currently not working on a french translation.
    So, I'm still seeking a french translator…

    Best regards
