Hi Pankaj,
I am curating a gene, rice SPK, which affects starch accumulation in the endosperm of immature seed (2 weeks after flowering). The authors analyzed the protein contents in immature seed, they grind the immature seeds without the lemma and palea to get the crude protein extract. I am wondering if we should have a term "endosperm storage proteins" to represent this crude protein extract.
