I have recently added alpha beta T cells as a separate branch under T cells [eg MP:0012763] we currently have CD4 T and CD8 T cells which come from the parent e.g. [MP:0006387, MP:0008073 and MP:0008077]
Due to the gating strategy I am using with my screen I was wondering if it was possible to have under abnormal alpha beta T cell number [MP:0012763] specific mp terms for CD4+ and CD8+ alpha beta T cells, I'm not sure if this will alter many of the other T cell terms or hierarchy

Suggested to have

Parent abnormal alpha beta T cell number [MP:0012763]

NEW abnormal CD4-positive alpha beta T cell number
NEW increased CD4-positive alpha beta T cell number
NEW decreased CD4-positive alpha beta T cell number

NEW abnormal CD8-positive alpha beta T cell number
NEW increased CD8-positive alpha beta T cell number
NEW decreased CD8-positive alpha beta T cell number

NEW abnormal CD4-positive alpha beta T cell number def: aberrant number of T cells that expresses an alpha-beta T cell receptor complex that carry the CD4 marker but do not express NK cell markers
NEW increased CD4-positive alpha beta T cell number def: increased number of T cells that expresses an alpha-beta T cell receptor complex that carry the CD4 marker but do not express NK cell markers
NEW decreased CD4-positive alpha beta T cell number def: decreased number of T cells that expresses an alpha-beta T cell receptor complex that carry the CD4 marker but do not express NK cell markers

NEW abnormal CD8-positive alpha beta T cell number def: aberrant number of T cells that expresses an alpha-beta T cell receptor complex that carry the CD8 marker but do not express NK cell markers
NEW increased CD8-positive alpha beta T cell number def: increased number of T cells that expresses an alpha-beta T cell receptor complex that carry the CD8 marker but do not express NK cell markers
NEW decreased CD8-positive alpha beta T cell number def: decreased number of T cells that expresses an alpha-beta T cell receptor complex that carry the CD4 marker but do not express NK cell markers
