    On second thought, it may be preferable to use "external urethral orifice" as the primary name, and retain "urinary meatus" as a synonym.

    FYI, I will be submitting a request for "abnormal INTERNAL urethral orifice morphology" shortly, so we have to try and keep the primary names consistent.

    Also, we may want to split these into male and female specific terms to reflect sex dichotomous differences in anatomy. I plan on submitting new terms for abnormal male and female urethra morphology shortly.
