The term "abnormal cell migration" currently has 100 annotations (soon to be more) and no children. I think we should consider subdividing this term. I suggest adding the children:
abnormal directional cell migration
def - any anomaly in the direction of movement of cells towards or away from a stimulus

impaired cell migration
syn - reduced cell migration
def - a reduction in the number or speed of moving cells

with the child
reduced cell migration velocity
syn - reduced cell migration rate
def - a decrease in the speed of movement of motile cells

enhanced cell migration
syn - increased cell migration
def - an increase in the number or speed of moving cells

failure of cell migration
syn - absence of cell migration
def - cells fail to move under conditions where migration is expected to be seen

Thanks,
Sue

    New term added:

"abnormal cell chemotaxis" MP:0010518 with synonym "abnormal directed cell migration"
def: any anomaly in the directed movement of a motile cell guided by a specific chemical concentration gradient; movement may be towards a higher concentration (positive chemotaxis) or towards a lower concentration (negative chemotaxis)

Other terms are pending review of annotations; many may be better placed with cell-specific terms.
