I now disagree, as certain membrane-spanning molecules, such as TLR2, may be present in internal vesicles in some cell types, and on the surface in others. lacks_part means found no where in or on the cell, whereas lacks_plasma_membrane_part means not found on the plasma membrane.
Of course David OS has further concerns about these relations, but for the moment they solve some problems in distinguishing cells types in flow cytometry.
