Objirc Chat Moves to Open Source

Objirc Chat a Java based IRC application has been setup here on SourceForge.

Objirc Chat is has moved from a shareware license to a GPL/LGPL license.

This 5th generation product includes:
* a cool Swing based GUI (designed for real people not just Java developers)
* event-based support for the IRC protocol
* Python and Java based plugin support
* DCC protocol with resume function
* an FServe addin
* SOCKS5 firewall support
* a new group panel window (like a buddy list with memo support),
* special Dalnet support (such as automatic nickname registration, room management functions and memo functions).
* a ton of other stuff.

Objirc Chat is a 5-star Ziff-Davis rated application. Is is also the highest rated IRC application on jars.com (well, joint highest).
