ObjectSnoop 0.5.0 released, first public alpha

The first public alpha release of ObjectSnoop is now available for download. Feedback on compatibility with servlet containers is welcome, and is the main reason for this release.

ObjectSnoop supports the examination of Java objects via the reflection API and is recursive. Output currently drives an HTML formatter and others are planned for future releases. Objects can also be filtered, providing a context sensitive examination of the object or interface.... read more

Getting settled in

Project approved!

With the first important step out of the way, I'm now ready to get going. This is my first time on an Open Source project, and tools like CVS and bug tracking are relatively new to me as well. Please bear with me as I get up to speed and iron out those wrinkles.

I'll be putting up the web site in the next day or two, including some sample output from the work I've done to date. Once I've read through and understood the CVS docs I'll be making my first commit.... read more
