Comment:  I just noticed what the problem is... actually pretty simple, something is generating a NoSuchMemberException, which is getting improperly caught because of the way we use an exception to bail out of the syntax-tree search once we found what we want.  This is a very simple fix, plus I should change to 'throw new Done()' instead of 'throw new Exception("done")', so we can specifically catch Done, and not have this problem in the future
