Headline: proxy objects
Description: it would be nice if objects could overload getMember() itself... but that causes the problem of needing getMember() in order to resolve getMember... perhaps a solution would be to allow an object to implement resolve().  For performance, perhaps the object will have to extend a special type (ie. Proxy)?
