The following modifications were made to this issue:

Status changed from 'Assigned' to 'Resolved'

Comment:  moving to resolved state... for now, I only changed the places that may be called before the windowManager variable is created... it is possible to change all references, but there is a lot of code known to not run until after windowManager variable created
