Hi all,
Thanks for all you contributions to my trademark problem. I see a
Problem with names like ObjectMap, Continuum, etc.
We don't have resources to have a rocksolid proof that such a name is
not trademarked by someone already. If we don't register a trademark on
such a name we have no legal options against companies registering this
name as their trademark later, have we?
I would prefer to keep the abbreviation OJB, as it used in all package
names, most documents etc.
Can natural family names be trademarked?
So I thought of Family names that could be condensed to OJB.
And I found: Ojilby. It seems to be a Venezuelan family name. It's
short, clear and sounds exotic.
Could this be a solution for the trademark problem?
What do you think?
best regards,
Thomas
