The thing I like most is that the Jakarta developers want to have OJB in 
their portfolio. They want to integrate it into frameworks like Turbine etc.

Behind the scenes we are already preparing the move (etc. using MAVEN as 
a build tool) build it will take some time to finish all organizational 
stuff.
