I beleive the LGPL is definitely a better fit for OJB. I have no problems changing my stuff to LGPL. I would recommend that the change happens as part of the 0.5 release, if only to say "code after 0.5 is LGPL, before is GPL". David Dixon-Peugh -----Original Message----- From: obj...@li... They are building commercial systems or systems that are licensed under Apache license etc. My intention is to have OJB used in such projects as long as our copyright is respected and no commercial O/R system is build by using our code. Do you have any ideas which open source could be more adequate for this approach? I heard that the Lesser Public Licence (LGPL) fits better to library style software. Any comments or suggestions are welcome, Thomas _______________________________________________ Objectbridge-developers mailing list Obj...@li... http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/objectbridge-developers |
