I've been through the documentation and can't find anything that talks specifics of OB functionality (assuming I actually get this installed!) Can someone point me to such a document if it exists? For example I'm wondering…
Can OpenBiblio be set to generate overdue reports automatically?
Does it do automatic backups (or can it be set to do them automatically)?
Can it print barcode labels? Library cards?
Once set up, how much ongoing IT maintenance is required? (To what extent can it be turned over to the users?)

Sorry, also: other than automatic report generation, can users create report requests through the GUI interface, or does this require IT expertise?
Overdue letters can be printed automatically:
- Access the Reports tab.
- Run report Over Due Member List
- On the report results page, follow lefthand link titled "Overdue Letters". This
will reformat the report results to PDF.
Backups: the server OpenBiblio is running on can be set up to automate backups
Barcode labels: can be created using the reports system, similar to Overdue Letters
Library cards: member cards can be created using the reports system…
Layout not shipped with OpenBiblio 0.6, but there is a seperate download
IT maintenance: running a webserver over the internet requires expertise.
Running on intranet, not accessible from outside? Perhaps users can perform maintenance themselves, but still more difficult than using desktop software.
Running reports requires no special expertise, using the web browser (and a PDF viewer for layouts).
Adding new reports written by others requires more experience
