The &lt;span&gt;[VehicleDatabases]&lt;/span&gt; are platform-independent, so that's out of the way. The &lt;a class="alink" href="/p/obdchat/wiki/LicenseDetails/"&gt;[LicenseDetails]&lt;/a&gt; have been chosen to avoid &lt;a class="" href="http://www.ipodobserver.com/ipo/article/iPhone_SDK_Trumps_GPL_No_Open_Source_Software/" rel="nofollow"&gt;complications&lt;/a&gt; for iPhone development. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In practice, the platform most likely to see an app first is Android, because Brad Hein of &lt;a class="" href="http://gtosoft.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow"&gt;GTOSoft&lt;/a&gt; has working code in VoyagerConnect and VoyagerDash and has expressed an interest in open-sourcing some portion of it and participating in the project! &lt;/p&gt;
