DateTrack

DateTrack adds a time dimension to a relational table by adding Effective Start Date and Effective End Date to the table's Primary Key. This allows you to create future-effective records and update historical records, whilst keeping a full history of all valid data. DateTrack is most often used in HR applications; for example, you might make a future-effective DateTrack update to your Marital Status when you know the date that you are getting married and changing your Surname.
