Dear sir,

My name is Stefan Robbers. I'm an G7000 enthousiast
and together with a friend we have setup a computer
system running DOS O2em with a frontend, which we
use to project the games on a beamer during parties.
We invite people to play with the games, and for that
we use a Hotrod SE Joystick controller.

ew.html

This joystick-controller connects to the Ps/2 keyboard
input. Using the config options from O2 (s1=, s2=) we
are able to play all our games using this fine controller.

However, there is one problem: The controller uses fixed
keys for its various functions (eg up1=w, etc etc). I
would like to implement the 'reset' key (F5 in o2em) and
the ESC key (to return to the frontend), so that we
won't need a regular keyboard at all to operate the
computer system.

O2em uses direct keybaord access i assume, since a key-
board re-assign application did not work at all. My
request is now: Could you make it possible that, instead
of F5, the 'Left CTRL' key is used, and instead of 'Esc'
the 'Left Alt' key is used to perform the reset and
escape function? These keys are assigned to buttons of
the Hotrod and so we could use the controller to
completely control the O2em emulator.

Can this be done and is it a lot of work?

I hope to hear from you soon!
