Well, since you are going to offer NNTP anyway this should not be that
much additional work. You can always offer a pop3 interface as well.
Both NNTP and POP3 are quite simple. It's just a suggestion which I
think would be useful sometimes.

What are the alternatives?
- Fetching articles in advance: as you said this costs space and
bandwidth. Additionally if a user really wants it they can always
have your proxy use their leafnode.
- not offering news at all
- fetching them in real time: what I suggested.
Did I miss something?
