Hi Andrea, I'm really sorry for the delay of my answer. The combo box is not a good solution due to a lack of interface space (the fixed fields position interface - that has been required from many people using Nyagua) doesn't allow to place easily this kind of content. I thin that a tooltip or the suggestion bar can do the work. Hi Rudy, as regards the first request I wonder if a combo list could be used for the alerts (I don't know if it is called like this in java :-)) as in events on the maintenance table? fish-plants-invertebrates table present in the aquarium. I was thinking of a combo on each value of the measurement that appears at the alert signal indicating in a drop down list the fish or plants or invertebrates that have a deficiency or excess of that element. While for the second problem solving it is not possible...

Hi Andrea, Thank you for your quick reply. About water values (2) I can see that an early check may be important if you (not like me) add your water values just after measuring them. The check should be performed for any specie (fish, invertebrate or plant) that is in the selected aquarium and the alarm raised up if any compatibility issue is schecked. But this leave us with some issues: a) if the alert is only a color change in the field - like for CO2 - then you must search what specie is incompatible....

Hello, I found the software very useful and quite complete. I would have to propose to add a new missing card. The tab in this question would be a sales tab. Hi Morris, The simple answer is no: at now it's not possible. As gnuplot window can be resized with the mouse I have never coded the size parameters.... I'll keep this suggestion in mind next time I'll code in Nyagua but at now there is no deadline for new features.... after more than ten years developing it I'm a little bit lazy :-) Best regards, Rudi

Good morning Rudi. By accident i just found the nyagua-version v5.1.6 in the files section of Your sourceforge-site. Of course i downloaded the noarch-version and tested it a little. I think it looks quite good, but i found, that the data-import still doesn't work. You can find the error-message (when trying to import data into the fish-base) in the enclosed hardcopy. Hello Rudi, the post regarding the fields was an error (handlingerror from my old shaky hands) and therefore deleted and here marked as obsolete. The fields are ok, i tested them all. Disabling the database-import from fishbase is very sad, as this is a unique feature and would be very interesting...

Hi Michael. I've received two notifications, about two post from you, from the system. I can't find them here in discussion but they was about missing fields on Fish table. Still an addendum to my last post, first paragraph: The missing fields for entering data in the mask in first tab are on tab two, i know. But there entered data is not saved. After klicking the O.k.-Button on top the data is erased and not saved. Bye Michael

Hi, thanks for the response. By the way maybe You can remember to insert the missing fields for entering data in the fish-db (which are in the bottom-list but not in the mask). In the plants-db and in the invertebrates-db all fields are enterable. I by and by continue to translate the downloadable manual. Hi Michael, I'm still unsure if those issues are due to Linux (well with Windows the problem was bigger) but I've had same issues in the past. It seem that moving those files in and out Netbeans causes them to misunderstand UTF codes. Anyway I'm doblechecking them everytime so I can solve this issue. If the result is looking ok I can go on publishing it. I'll only take some days (this week) to verify if I'm able to solve (at least partially) the issue with fishbase.org. I'd like to publish the fix...

Hello Rudi, thanks for the new version. I didn't have these errors in the old version and don't have in the new version. To prevent this i will change the editor. So far i used kate, a pure asci-editor in the linux-kde-/plasma-environment, from now on i will use bluefish, an editor-monster with unimaginable many features (, which maybe nobody needs)... Hi Michael, Sorry for delay in answer. Here in attachment the new version: I've added your translation, fixed degree char and updated the version. If possible please check it for last time... About manual the error is due to a formatting change that was born when I moved from a multifile structure to a single file in an aptent to use same source files both for pdf and site.
