#23 If import_file -r directory/ with a slash breaks path name.

No

If you include a slash on a directory name when using the recursive option on import_file, it stores the path with a double slash, for example: xyzzy//twisty_maze.jpg.

Then if you try to use verify_file -r xyzzy it won't match the file name.

Need to fix it so that it removes any double slashes before creating the path.

Fixed in Alpha_28.1. Added normalization function that takes a path that has multiple slashes and makes them all one slash, removes and single periods ("./whatever" -> "whatever" or "subdir/./xyzzy" -> "subdir/xyzzy"), and removes double periods ("subdir/whatever/../xyzzy" -> "subdir/xyzzy").
