It would be useful if when a message is sent, a bcc
is also sent back to the originator.

This bcc copy, which will end up back in the mail
folder can be parsed and detected that it is from the
originator, and can therefore be shown in a sent-
items folder.

Please please please keep using the /var/spool folder
(or pop3), as the messages can be downloaded via pop3
to a different system at a later date - if mail were
moved to the ~/mailbox file, the pop3 server would no
longer be able to see the files.
